What we handle and how a call is routed
We handle water damage and mold in Laguna Beach, CA through six services. Four deal with an active emergency, one rebuilds what the water ruined, and one removes mold growth after a moisture problem. All of them start with a single phone call.
When you call, a dispatcher asks where the water came from, how far it has spread and what materials are wet. Those answers decide which licensed and insured crew is sent and what equipment goes on the truck. Same-day response is offered when available, including nights and weekends.
Water damage is our main work. Mold remediation is secondary, and it usually follows a leak that stayed wet for too long. We do not repair plumbing, waterproof foundations or fix roofs, and we say so on the phone so you can line up a plumber or roofer in parallel.

Start with one question: is there water on the floor or in the walls right now? If yes, you need an emergency service first. Emergency water removal comes first when there is standing water, because pumps and extraction units must get the bulk of it out before anything can dry.
If the surface water is gone but walls, subfloors or cabinets still feel damp, the next step is water mitigation. A crew finds hidden moisture with a thermal imaging camera and moisture meters, then sets air movers and LGR dehumidifiers. EPA guidance says to dry water-damaged areas within 24 to 48 hours to prevent mold growth, so this step should not wait.
Soaked carpet pad, ruined insulation and dirty water call for water damage cleanup. That work removes what cannot be saved and treats the area before drying or rebuilding begins. When the water came from outside, from a storm surge, a failed drain or a sewage backup, read about flood damage restoration.
Once everything is dry, water damage repair puts the room back together. If you are seeing or smelling mold, mold remediation is the page to read. Mold needs moisture to grow, so the water problem has to be fixed too. Many jobs use two or three of these services in sequence, and we explain each stage and its scope before work starts.
Which page to read for your situation
Find the line that sounds most like your home right now.
| Your situation | Page to read |
|---|---|
| Standing water on the floor after a burst pipe or overflow | Emergency water removal |
| Surface water is gone, but walls or floors still feel damp | Water mitigation |
| Wet carpet pad, soaked insulation or dirty water to clear out | Water damage cleanup |
| Storm water, a drain backup or sewage in the house | Flood damage restoration |
| Dry structure, damaged drywall, flooring or cabinets to rebuild | Water damage repair |
| Musty smell, visible growth or a past leak that stayed wet | Mold remediation |
Many homes fall into two rows. A burst pipe, for example, often means removal, mitigation, cleanup and repair in that order.
Describe it to a real dispatcher
Call the 24/7 line. We will tell you which service fits and what to do while a crew is on the way.
Cost, insurance and what we do not do
We do not quote prices on a web page. Cost depends on the water category (clean, gray or black), how much area is affected, which materials got wet, how many days of equipment drying take, and how much rebuilding follows. We explain scope and price before work starts, so nothing is a surprise.
For insurance, sudden and accidental water damage is often covered, while gradual leaks and neglect often are not. Flood is usually excluded and needs separate flood coverage. Check your policy or ask your insurer. If you want to know how we work in practice, read about us or look at the towns we serve.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I call if I am not sure which service I need?
Yes. Describe what you see and the dispatcher will match it to a service. Most callers do not know the trade names, and that is fine.
