Where we work

Our base is 465 Forest Ave in Laguna Beach, CA, and most calls come from within the city. We also take calls from five nearby Orange County towns. Dispatch runs around the clock, and same-day response is offered when available.

If your address is not on this page, call anyway. The dispatcher will tell you plainly whether we can send a crew. Our full list of services applies in every town below.

Inside Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach has about 13,000 housing units, and the city's own Housing Element refers to an aging housing stock and steep hillside terrain. That combination matters for water damage, because older supply lines and drain lines fail, and hillsides move water in ways flat lots do not.

Downtown Laguna Beach

Downtown runs from Main Beach to Legion Street, and many buildings there hold more than one unit. In a shared building, water from one unit can reach the one below, so tell the dispatcher how many units are affected and who the building manager is.

Top of the World

This hillside neighborhood sits around Alta Laguna Park. On slopes, check for water pooling at the base of walls and for new damp patches outside, since runoff and a leak can look alike. Tell the dispatcher which floor is lowest.

Bluebird Canyon

The Bluebird Canyon landslide of October 2, 1978 destroyed 24 homes, and the California Geological Survey lists it among notable historic slope failures. We do not say what caused it. We do say that hillside owners should watch for wet ground, new seepage and cracks, and report them to a professional.

Three Arch Bay and Lagunita

Both are gated communities, Three Arch Bay in South Laguna and Lagunita just south of Main Beach. Tell the dispatcher about the gate, and have the access code or a contact at the gate ready so the crew is not stuck outside while water spreads.

South Laguna

South Laguna gets its water from South Coast Water District, not from the Laguna Beach County Water District. If a main line or meter is the problem, that tells you which utility to call.

Water utilities and where to shut off

Laguna Beach County Water District (LBCWD) supplies water to most of the city, per the City of Laguna Beach water-quality page. If you live in South Laguna, the City page says your water comes from the South Coast Water District. Know which one serves you before a pipe lets go.

Your main shutoff valve belongs to your property and is the first thing to close when water will not stop. For a utility-side problem such as a leaking meter, call the district that serves your address. Private sewer laterals, including the connection point at the public sewer, are the property owner's responsibility according to the City.

Emerald Bay is also within the LBCWD service territory. If your address is there, call and we will confirm coverage by phone.

Tell us the address of the loss

The dispatcher will confirm whether we can send a crew to your street.

How coverage works across the area

Laguna Beach sits between the coast and the canyon hills, and the drive to a job depends on where it is. A call from the village near Forest Ave is a short trip from our base. A call from the upper canyon neighborhoods or a hillside street takes a different route, and the crew plans for narrow roads and limited parking before arriving.

Neighboring towns are covered from the same dispatch line. Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, Aliso Viejo, Newport Beach and Laguna Woods each have a page that covers the housing stock and water issues common there.

If your town is not listed, call anyway and give the street address. We confirm coverage on the phone before anyone is sent, so you are never left guessing about whether a crew can reach you.

What happens after you call

The dispatcher notes your address, the source of the water and the rooms affected. A crew arrives with extraction units, air movers and moisture meters, and the lead explains scope and price before any work starts.
