Who we are

Laguna Beach Water Damage Pros is a 24/7 call line for water damage and mold in Laguna Beach, CA. When you call, we send licensed and insured restoration professionals to your address. We work from 465 Forest Ave and serve Laguna Beach and nearby towns in Orange County.

We keep the model simple on purpose. You phone one number, you describe the problem, and a crew is sent. There is no online booking and no form to fill in at midnight with water on the floor.

What happens when you call

Here is the usual order of a call.

  1. 1

    Triage

The dispatcher asks where the water came from, whether it is still running and which rooms are wet. If it is safe, you may be told to close the main water valve.

  2. 2

    Dispatch

We send a crew based on the answers. Same-day response is offered when available, including after hours.

  3. 3

    Assessment

On site, the crew checks the damage with moisture meters and a thermal imaging camera, and decides what must be extracted, removed or dried.

  4. 4

    Scope and price

The scope and price are explained before work starts, so you can ask questions and decide.

Standards we point to

Two published industry standards cover this work. ANSI/IICRC S500 is the standard for water damage restoration, and ANSI/IICRC S520 covers mold remediation. They describe water categories, drying goals and containment practice.

We are not claiming a certification on this page. Instead, we suggest a habit that works with any contractor: ask whether the crew works to S500 and S520, and ask them to explain how. A good answer is specific. You can also check any contractor's license on the California Contractors State License Board website.

What we do and what we do not do

We handle emergency water removal, structure drying, cleanup, flood and sewage water jobs, rebuilding after water, and mold remediation. Our guides to water mitigation and mold remediation explain each in plain words.

We do not repair plumbing, waterproof foundations or fix roofs. We do not offer fire or smoke restoration. We cannot promise what your insurer will cover, and we will not tell you a claim will be approved. For that, read your policy or ask your insurer.

How scope and price are explained

We do not publish prices, because the real number depends on the job. The main factors are the water category (clean, gray or black), the area affected, the materials involved, the days of drying equipment and the amount of rebuilding.

Before work starts, the crew walks you through what they found, what they plan to do and how the price follows from that. If the scope changes, for instance because a wall is wetter than it looked, the change is explained before it goes ahead. See our services for the full list, or call us to ask a specific question.

What to expect on a restoration job

A typical job starts with finding and stopping the source. Water that keeps running makes every later step harder, so the first minutes go to the shutoff, the extent of the wet area and the safety of the room. Then comes extraction, which removes standing water before anything else is attempted.

Drying follows extraction. Air movers and dehumidifiers work on wet materials while moisture readings show whether walls, subfloors and cabinets are drying or holding water. Materials that cannot be dried, such as saturated insulation or soaked carpet pad, are usually removed so they do not become a mold problem later.

Throughout the job, the crew documents what is wet, what was removed and what was dried. Photos and moisture notes help your insurance carrier understand the loss. You can read the full process on our water mitigation and water damage repair pages.

Why a call line

Water damage does not keep office hours. A pipe can fail at 2 a.m. on a holiday, and the first hours decide how much drywall, flooring and cabinetry can be saved. A phone line that always answers lets you describe the problem once and get a crew moving.

A dispatcher can also tell you what to do before anyone arrives: close the main water valve, lift valuables, and stay out of dirty water. EPA guidance says water-damaged areas should be dried within 24 to 48 hours to prevent mold growth, which is why the first call matters. If you live outside the city, our service area page lists the towns we cover.
